1947 Plymouth
This 1947 Plymouth Deluxe is a great car.  In 1947, it was bought by a
farmer in Nebraska returning from the war.  The car was past to his
son, who eventually sold it to a business owner in late 1975.  About
1977 the interior was redone, and the great western craftsmanship still
shines in the seats and headliner of this car.  The paint is original, as
are the engine and most of the exterior, giving credit to the
craftsmanship of the people who won the war to end all wars.  Both of
our cars are like riding in a time capsule or a rolling museum.  Even on
the busy I64, past customers have received thumbs up and waves and
honking of horns, much to their joy and amusement!  Every day you see
a Hummer or Lincoln stretch, but it’s not every day you get a chance to
ride in such a well kept piece of American history. For years to come
you can look back, and enjoy the memory of driving away from your
wedding, or special event in this piece of history from the greatest
generation of America. As a vet of 2 different conflicts and/or wars the
cars of the 40’s and 50’s are very special to me.  The men and women,
who, after the great depression, made America the superpower, and
great nation it is today, also rode away in these cars on their wedding
day.  Your grandparents and even parents might be able share some
story about a car like either one of ours and a great memory.  Keep that
tradition alive with your children and grand children.
